This site facilitates the classroom learning process. Many students need a dedicated music site to reinforce the knowledge and skills I cover in class. This is the place where students gain those skills.

We define our music program as general music and music literacy. Although the instructor uses other approaches, such as Kodaly and Orff-Schulwerk for the PK-2 students, they gain most of the instrumental techniques from sites such as Music Will (Little Kids Rock).

I believe that the human voice is the foundation for all music learning, and audiation (hearing in your mind the sounds of the music you are looking at), the basic concept in music understanding. Other musical experiences include Orff instruments, piano, body percussion and drum set, guitar, and the soprano recorder.
